In other news, I finally got round to booking my tickets for the move. I was procrastinating since I didn’t still don’t know when my thesis will be finished and submitted, but whatever, I am leaving on the 10th October!
I found a plane ticket to Japan just the incentive I needed to get mine finished and handed in! Squeezing in a date for the viva was tight, but I made it onto the flight. And slept the whole way. What can I say – I’ve always needed a deadline!
Totally agree, I am nothing without a deadline! Hopefully will have the viva at Christmas so I can kill two birds with one stone and keep the family happy by coming home! Although Christmas on our own in NY is mighty appealing
