Etsy love

I’d never heard of Etsy until about 6 months ago – it’s an awesome community of wonderfully creative people and I’m excited to finally bite the bullet with the opening of my shop! I generally find that the prices are comparable to buying stuff on the high street, except the items on Etsy are much higher quality, having being beautifully handcrafted by sweet, sweet people, often customized to your exact requirements! I’ve bought a few wedding-related things recently and I was super excited to get into college this morning to find that my wedding hairpiece had arrived! Here it is nesting in it’s beautifully packaged box – my fantastic piece by the wonderful Myra at Twigs and Honey!

In Myra’s words: “This piece ranges in color from off white to ivory with just a subtle hint of gold and taupe for depth. This piece is made of silk flowers, hand cut petals, tulle, stamens, goose nagoire feathers, stripped coque feathers, and Russian veiling. The piece is securely attached to a 6 prong silver plated wire comb. This piece measures around 4.5 to 5 inches all around and is 6.5 inches long if you include the veil leaf.”

Myra has been getting some well-deserved rave reviews recently, so head over to her Etsy store now to get your name on the ever-growing waiting list for one of her amazing creations.
